2 -3 or more sailboat flotilla together in Halkidiki day trip for 11 or more persons
A great way for groups larger than 9 persons to go sailing in 2020!
Due to Greek yachting regulations, licensing a yacht for more than 12 persons in total is much more complicated business-wise than less. Although the yachts may be pretty large and would easily accommodate more persons their license usually is about 10 to 12 persons, Skipper and crew included (the same number for which there are enough seats in life-raft and life-jackets on board). So It has to do with safety regulations and we take the safety at sea very serious at charterAyacht.
So for larger groups, we offer the possibility to book a second (or third) sailing yacht for a day trip in Halkidiki.
Yes, but we want to be together?
People usually ask me. As the route usually takes us from one beach to the next the transfer times are about 30-45 min max between beaches. At each beach, the yachts drop anchor and tie together making a large platform with plenty of ladders for climbing back onboard again, showers, music, etc. great for a party atmosphere. While underway the boats as you can see in the pictures travel close to each other 5-10m and people have more fun taking photos and jocking. As you will be all together when we make the taverna stop, your group will practically be together almost all day.
What about the cost?
The price is very good considering that you are booking a private trip on luxury sailboats. Sure it’s cheaper to go for a day trip on a large boat with another 150 people, but sailing and having your private yachts and skippers make the experience worth the extra cost.
